We have endeavoured to answer many of the questions that you may have, however please feel free to contact us to have a no obligation chat, to ask questions or to book any of our services.

WHAT WE WILL DO:

Our overall aim is to put together a documentary video that tells the story of an individuals life or of an event

that is to be remembered for generations to come. This will be done using interviews, Photographs, live video

music, voiceovers and narration and professional editing techniques. These, tempered together in a tasteful and

skillful production ensure a documentary video that will preserve the legacy of loved ones or events for time to

come.

 

 

HOW WE AIM TO DO IT:

A no obligation consultation will take place over the phone, leading to a visit by one of our team.

We will then advise on the media to be collected eg photos, videos etc.

we will write letters to the participants that you would like to take part in the documentary and contact them by phone if necessary. A plan will be drawn up regarding the frame of the documentary after which we begin filming

of interviews and location shots etc. We will begin our editing using any footage provided by you, photographs,

interviews, location shots, etc. After a viewing by you we will begin to overlay the music, Audio tracks and narration.

 

 

HOW MUCH WILL WE CHARGE:

Our charges are as per work and therefore only a guide can be given. The price is affected by the following

factors

-- number of interviews to be filmed

- number of venues to be recorded

- distance to travel for interviews etc

- intended duration of documentary

 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE:

The process of creating the documentary from initial consultation to finished edit may take between 6 - 8 weeks

this includes planning, discussions, interviews, locaton shots, initial preview, second preview, and final edit and

in some cases the viewing event.

due to the varying nature of each documentary the time scale could be shorter or longer, however we will be in regular communication as to the progress of your documentary.

 

WHAT DO WE NEED?

We will need as much information as you would like to give us,

Photographs that tell a story eg wedding day, first day at school, graduation day, doing what they loved, etc

Video footage, eg family time, wedding day etc

contact details of best friend etc , people of interest, colleagues

 

WHO WILL SEE THE DOCUMENTARY ?

The Documentary will be for your use, and will therefore be for you and your family/friends/guests viewing.

The Documentary will be placed on our website for public viewing only with your consent.

The Documentary may be placed on our site for private viewing by your audience.

You will recieve copies of the DVD and extra copies may be purchased.

The Documentary can be viewed at a private gallery viewing for up to 90 people at one of our participating

private galleries.

 

WHO WILL BE INVOLVED:

The creation of a documentary is a very intimate and emotionally satisfying task, putting you in the position to

tell the story of your loved ones life, tell of events, highlight their qualities, remind people of their personality

and talk about what was dear to them. We therefore try to involve you (the family of the subject) as much as we

possibly can through ideas, interviews etc, if requested the narration can be done by the family or friends.

 

 

WILL IT BE SHOWN PUBLICLY ?

Your Documentary will never be shown publicly except with your written consent.

The documentary is for you and your family, it may be viewed by you in a cinema but that will be your private

viewing and will only be at the time and date agreed and access would be strictly by agreed invitation only,

ensuring only those you want to be present.
